Minecraft Snapshot 25w48 Boosts Technical Features and Adds Kgis Language

Mojang has released a new Minecraft snapshot, 25w48. This update is small yet significant. It mainly focuses on technical improvements and bug adjustments.

The highlight of this snapshot is its technical nature. It is centered around data-driven enhancements for resource packs. This means resource packs are now on versions 64 and 49. These updates aim to streamline the game, making it more efficient for developers and modders.

In terms of new features, Minecraft now supports the Kgis language. Kgis is spoken in Kyan, a lesser-known country in Central Asia. This addition broadens the accessibility of the game to more players worldwide.

In addition to language support, the developers have made two changes. Tool tips for crossbows and Shulker Boxes have been updated. Now, when you pick up a Shulker Box or a chest with Control plus pick block, you see the first four items. Crossbows will also show what item they have loaded.

There are also some reversions to previous bug fixes. Diagonal movement speed has been adjusted again. This change affects players who use parkour and speed bridging techniques. In the past, moving diagonally was faster than intended. The developers have now fixed this to match the expected game physics.

Another change is related to sprinting. A previous bug allowed players to sprint and perform actions without slowing down much. This bug allowed players to maintain speed and exploit movement tactics. The developers made adjustments to ensure a more consistent gameplay experience.

These updates reflect Mojang’s commitment to improving Minecraft. By focusing on technical details and bug fixes, they ensure the game remains enjoyable and fair for all players. The new language support also highlights their dedication to inclusivity.
